Professional DUI / Risk Reduction Classes

The Department of Driver Services (DDS) regulates the DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program (RRP) also more commonly referred to as DUI schools. This is an intervention program mandated by law for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, or Boating Under the Influence (BUI).

Please come in at least one week prior to your class to take the NEEDs assessment.

The Process:

Step 1 – Assessment – 30-45 minutes - $75.00

By law, all students must take an assessment before enrolling in the DUI / Risk Reduction class. The assessment is a 130 question survey about your lifestyle. The assessment usually takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The fee for the assessment is $75.00.

You may take the assessment anytime during our normal business hours. Please call our office if you are not able to make it during these hours and we will be glad to accommodate you with alternate times.The assessment needs to be taken BEFORE you take your class.

The best thing to do is, sign up for your class below and then come by the school and take your Needs assessment.

Step 2 – Risk Reduction Course – 20 hours - $205.00

Following the assessment, you must attend a 20 hour Risk Reduction Program at the location where the assessment was taken. This class is a 20 hour course designed to help individuals:
reduce problems caused by high-risk drinking or drug use;
reduce the risk for long-term health problems and short-term impairment problems;
successfully protect the things they value.

Classes are held weekly at the following times:
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (includes 1 hour lunch break)
Sunday - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (includes 1 hour lunch break)
Monday – 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
